Hi, I’m Stefanie - but please, call me Stef. I was born in Colombia, and was raised mainly in Vancouver, so I spent most of my days playing in the forest and avoiding bear cubs in our backyard. When I wasn’t out getting muddy, you could always find me drawing, reading, and taking my dad’s computer apart without his permission. Tinkering, making, and inventing has always been in my blood, and sometimes I still can’t believe that I get to do it for a living.
My creative passions lay in visual communications and using a wide variety of visual disciplines to clearly communicate an idea. I love branding, marketing, strategy — all of it. Often times, after completing a project, I’ll stand back in awe of how an idea can start on a simple piece of paper, and with a talented team, that piece of paper can be brought to life.
With 11 years of industry experience under my belt, I am confident collaborating in diverse teams, communicating with clients, and innovating. I believe in the importance of expanding boundaries to design solutions using research, exploration, visuals and medium.
